Thursday, August 10th - Northern Ontario
We woke early to make the journey across the widest province of Canada. Ontario spans almost one third of the journey from Toronto to Vancouver.
On August 10th, 2006, the great war of the Terrorists Vs. Imperialists raged on. There was a foiled attack in London, England that left the United States in paranoia. We were on our way to London, Ontario, Canada. We tried to take a short cut through the State of Michigan, the Americain authorities refused our entry at Sault Ste. Marie.

Carlito chills on the Manitoulin Ferry.
We spent 17 hours in the van, driving to a cottage near Parry Sound. Carl and Cindy stopped on Manitoulin to visit family. Joe and I had a wonderful swim and sauna before bed.
