It’s early morning in Banff, Alberta. The band is fast asleep. I just dropped off Osiris to the shop to check her transmission.

After driving for hours and hours…and hours, we finally played our first gig of our Canadian Western Tour. It went awesomely! We were admittedly, as a band, pretty sloppy. Van hours can do that to you.

The Rose and Crown in Banff, Alberta, Canada. The corner window is the back of the stage.

This Thursday crowd danced and shouted and sang along. They were awesome. We sold a box full of CD’s and t-shirts.

It’s a good justaposition coming from Mim’s good Christian cousins to play a wild night in Banff. The drunken world of the rock’n’roll crowd is rowdy and horny. When we got back to the chalet, Richard, our supervisor awoke.

"Hey, sorry if we’re being too loud." We whispered, chomping down on our late night sandwiches.

"Shit, I done seen a whole lot worse" said Richard, referring to the many legendary parties continued late into the morning by bands whom have passed through. I guess sandwiches, water and straight to bed is lame, but we like it.
